When trees begin to bud, when traces of green peek through the straw-colored mat of the Winter lawn, when the chill in the air melds into the bright warmth of sunlight, Spring is days or weeks away. It’s one of the best times of the year.

I do love this time of year!
Yes it is! For me, not only the budding plants, but my ole faithful hummingbirds have made their debut in my garden! Some as small as a large bumblebee! My lovebirds now sing at full pitch from sunrise till sunset. While this may annoy some, it is a joyfully, and a “alive” sound in its purest sense. And because of that, I let them fly freely for a while (not the mess one would think, either!) 🙂
There are hints like that here too. Some fruit trees are already flowering on bare limbs.
