One Hundred Thirty-Eight

It feels so damn good to learn new things, doesn’t it? I mean, if every day simply brought more of the same stuff you already knew, wouldn’t you want to swallow a Walmart-sized bottle of sleeping pills? Some days I think it would be deliriously wonderful to wake up as a Republican pastor or a snake shedding its skin, just to experience the world from a new perspective. Experiencing a new perspective does not mean adopting it; but it does suggest intellectual growth , as part of the process.
