October 12: Thoughts for the Day

Go far away from city lights and look at the dark sky on a clear night.   If you are not overwhelmed by it, you are not thinking deeply enough.  Try again.  And again.  And again. Eventually, the scale of the universe will exhilarate you with its sheer size.

    Yes! Look at the starry night sky. A wonderful thing for perspective. I have often wished we could see the stars during the day.
