Foxy

FoxWhen we were in Big Bend National Park a few weeks ago, this guy decided to rest next to the irrigation pipe (behind him), which was just below our balcony.  We took several photos with my wife’s phone; it’s a pretty bad camera.

Obviously, this guy is not afraid of people.  I suspect the signs around the lodge where we stayed did not work; they asked that guests refrain from feeding the animals.  Somebody fed this fox; I don’t know how I know this, but somehow I just do.

  1. Therese, it really was amazing to see; it was just a few feet out from the building and just a few feet below. Gorgeous creature!

Ohhh! I’ve never seen, nor knew of the existence of a fox with these markings and color! What a beautiful creature….good or bad camera!

I’ve only just seen a fleeting fox, escaping into the hedgerow in Ireland. Fed or not, this is really quite marvelous!

I wish you would tell me what you think about this post...
