December 31: Thoughts for the Day

As the year began, with tradition, so it ends; with reflection and anticipation.

A lot of good things happened in 2014, and a lot of bad things happened.  I’ll not judge the year on the basis of either, because that would do no good.  Instead, I’ll express appreciation for the year because, without it, where would we be?  And because it is the most recent year available to serve as a model, I’ll use it as the starting point to help make 2015 and subsequent years as good as they can be.

This is my last post to be called “Thoughts of the Day.” I may continue to use the category title, but next year, I’ll shift gears a bit.

To you, dear reader, I hope your days in 2014 numbered more good ones than bad ones and I wish for you a wonderful 2015.
