Sickish

Even a vague illness can be annoying and disruptive. Yesterday, whatever had been playing with me caught up, effectively knocking me out for the afternoon. I got up long enough to have Thanksgiving dinner number two (my wife roasted a turkey and she and her sister fixed some sides) and help clean the kitchen. Then, it was back in bed until about 10:00 p.m., up just long enough to decide to return to bed.

I’m not feeling horrible, but the headache and upset stomach and mild symptoms of Crohn’s disease are enough to screw up my comfort. If the world is a just place, I’ll be back at one hundred percent before the day’s out.

I don’t think the world is a just place, but I do hope you are feeling better as soon as possible. Take care.

I wish you would tell me what you think about this post...
