March 9: Thoughts for the Day

Having recently read some advice for people who are just beginning to practice meditation, it occurs to me that meditation is a natural practice in which humans have engaged for millennia.  We focus on something…anything, really…and allow our minds to settle, very gently.  It relieves stress and promotes calmness.  I will write more about meditation as my experience with it enables me to better understand it.
