A glass of cool water can brighten a room. Take a sip and the grayness that’s smudging the walls and the windows and the world around you leaks away. That sip begins the process, leaving a cleaner, clearer view for the eyes to behold. Now, imagine a million sips of water. The brilliance of the experience would be blinding. So, if that is the case, one might say water causes blindness. But because these comments are just tricks, manipulations of language for personal pleasure, one might say personal pleasure causes blindness. I believe it’s been said before, though the logic escapes me. Obviously.
