Nine

Imagine that you are walking into a shop where mechanics work on cars.  Do you smell grease and oil and gasoline? Do you sense those smells as you read this?  If you do, your imagination is in working order.

    Mine is the smell that greets your nostrils upon entering a Firestone or other tire store… There’s something about that smell that brings me back to childhood… That and the odor upon walking into a boot store, like I did just the other day in Fort Worth.
