Brisket

image

Last night, we were treated to an excellent meal of mesquite-smoked brisket and all the appropriate condiments, German potato salad, and green salad, capped off with very good dessert. Not to mention some truly fine beer. And we started the feast with manchego and bleu cheese.  Of course, I failed to take pictures!  What the hell is wrong with me?! Not to worry! I’ll simply steal the photo the pitmaster took of the final product before it came off the grill.

It was a truly fine meal, accompanied by good conversation and laughter.  Last night was a wonderful way to end our 25-year experience of living in Dallas.  Today, we head out to our next great adventure.
