I have to wonder whether some people are criminally stupid. Is there a condition wherein an individual’s stupidity constitutes criminality? I believe there is.
There are people in this world whose very existence is anathema to goodness and reason. These are people whose stupidity exceeds exaggeration. These are people for whom the act of breathing and using oxygen might rightfully be judged an assault on humanity.
I am deeply concerned that some of these people seem to breed like promiscuous rabbits on a diet of fertility pills. Their offspring probably do not inherit their parents’ stupidity. Unfortunately, those children—schooled from birth in the finer points of idiocy and ignorance—have bleak futures as near-perfect clones, thanks to parental incompetence.
How can society exercise control over who is permitted to drive a car or install water heaters or cut hair, yet insist the state has no business requiring licenses to bear, and to rear, children?
