At this very moment, one of the things that would please me most would be to have the ability to live free of anger, free of being so reactive to the negativity and disappointments and upsets I face in the world around me.
Instead of wishing for it and thinking “I know myself and it simply cannot be,” I am doing something about it. I am making a conscious effort to learn why I allow myself to react the way I do; by learning why I allow it, I will be in a position to change it.
Today is the beginning.
