October 9: Thoughts for the Day

Today is my oldest brother’s birthday, so my thought today is for him to have a very happy one.

Coincidental to that thought, I’m of the opinion that drinking a glass of excellent Belgian style red ale can be a great way to wrap up an afternoon of patching cracks in a long, sloping driveway.

About John Swinburn

"Love not what you are but what you may become."― Miguel de Cervantes "Intimacy is never wrong. It can be awkward, it can be unsettling, it can feel dangerous, it can seem out of place, but it’s never wrong."― John Swinburn

Well! That makes it even more of a curiosity yet, John! Knew your brother was living down here… entonces muchas felicidades para Clay! 🙂

  2. Trish, my brother Tom will be in Mexico visiting my brother Clay, who shares a birthday with you.

  3. Trisha says:

Well I’ll be! Of course I don’t know your brother, but he shares my day, and will be down in Mexico. How curious. Have to say felicidades to Tom, sure!

  4. John says:

    ¡Gracias, señor!

AND, as I’ll be in Mexico for your birthday let me wish you a happy one yourself, albeit premature.
