For the Birds

In just a short while, we’re heading out to the first of four 2.5-hour birding workshops that we’ll attend over the next four weeks. Initially, I was very interested in it; the workshop purports to introduce participants to birds one can expect to see in these environs.  Maybe it’s the grey day, the fog, the humidity, or my mood, but I’m not as excited about it as I once was. Here’s hoping that will change and it will be an exhilarating learning experience.

  1. Robin, today was an indoor day; no birding, thanks to the weather. Next week, though, if the weather cooperates, we’ll do some birding and learn to identify some of the common birds in this area. But I learned a lot about binoculars and field guides; I think I’ll write about them and may post later today or tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to hearing (and maybe even seeing through photos) what you experience on this birding journey today.

I wish you would tell me what you think about this post...
