We had a good time yesterday and today. My brother, the one who’s retired in Mexico, came through and stayed the night with us. He left this afternoon, bound for Paris where he’ll join his wife and, after a few days, fly to Prague, where they will spend several days. His wife has been in Paris for a couple of weeks with her daughter and granddaughter (the latter’s graduation present).
Anyway, we had a good time. The first step was to go have lunch at Jack Mac’s Swill and Grill, a wonderful place that serves unique and exceptional meals. I had the lamb burger with goat cheese, along with a wonderful Cascadia dark IPA. Then, last night, we grilled ribeye and drank malbec.
And, now, I’m listening to music. John Hiatt, Keb Mo’, and others. Television has lost its luster, not that it ever had much for me; lately, television seems like such a time waster.
